“Waiting for perfect is never as smart as making progress.”
Seth godin

There are many ways we can get stuck creatively. We can burn out. We can hit a wall. We can fail. And we can wait for perfect.
Perfection is obviously not real, and while we know this to be true, and would even scoff at the idea of “waiting until things were perfect” to begin a new creative pursuit, the truth is we build boxes of perfection we expect our creativity to fit in. We build expectations so high around what we must do before we begin, sometimes it can keep us from even starting.
So this is our encouragement to you on today’s podcast…don’t wait for perfect. Make moves. Open the store. Write your first post. Write your first book. Shoot your first client. Paint your first canvas. Sculpt your first piece. You can cultivate your craft all along the way.
Just begin.
